Key collaborations

Below is a sample of some of our most impactful collaborations with global organisations. These partnerships have leveraged the power of arts practice to drive significant change and enhance learning.

Amala Education Amman, Jordan

Since 2022, ISTA has partnered with Amala to explore learning through the arts. In October 2022, ISTA hosted a three-day professional development event in Amman, Jordan, titled 'Staging Stories, Changing the World,' highlighting the potential of young people to drive change.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

ISTA has collaborated with the International School of Phnom Penh since 2018 to develop a Connect festival that explores Cambodia’s culture and history. These festivals provide impactful learning experiences, fostering deeper cultural connections and supporting local causes and charities aligned with our shared philosophies.

Terezín Memorial

Since 2009, ISTA's work with the Terezín Memorial has guided learners, educators, and artists worldwide in understanding the Holocaust. This site-specific event uses survivor stories to explore activism, education, and the vital role young people play in ensuring the world remembers and learns.

9/11 Memorial and Museum

In collaboration with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, ISTA developed "Standing Tall," a site-specific festival aimed at ending hatred, ignorance, and intolerance. This annual event, inspired by "The Last Column," uses stories to inspire global change, strengthen resolve, and promote peace and understanding worldwide.

Atlanta, Georgia, USA

In 2019, ISTA partnered with the Atlanta International School and the National Civil and Human Rights Museum to create a festival addressing freedom, modern slavery, and human trafficking. The event included a summit, guest speakers, and a public performance, empowering students to pursue activism beyond the festival.
