About

Hong Kong TAPS Perspectives

Hosted by

Independent Schools Foundation Academy

ISTA TAPS Perspectives offers IB DP Theatre students an immersive experience working with four practising theatre professionals, each specialising in collaboratively creating original theatre, staging play texts, exploring world theatre traditions, and performing theatre theory. Students collaborate with peers from different schools and take part in a practical session with an IB DP Theatre specialist to connect their learning to their own coursework. By engaging with artists from local cultural organisations, TAPS enriches the cultural ecology of its host locations. This dynamic experience bridges IB DP Theatre syllabus areas with real-world theatre practice, inspiring students to deepen their explorations back at school.
